hmmmm - not sure about that - I'll take my chances. Touch wood after 18 months only chips so far are on the plastic chrome grill and lower bumper trim which cant be fixed but they're slight. I think the older model was more prone as it had a flatter profile on the front of the bonnet. Got a big stone chip on my last Tucson there after one month! Careful filling with paint, light sanding then compounding and you would never have seen it.

Doesn't look too bad. Not in your face as I thought it might be (colour dependant I guess).
What concerns me is how is it fixed?

Personal preference obviously but I'm not a big fan of those. Last one I saw on a Sportage was held on with stainless clips with pads. When it was removed at the end of a four year lease it had actually damaged the bonnet so kinda defeated the object and it attracted additional charges. Hopefully yours will be fine.

Not a fan either, but each to their own.
I remember my father telling me years ago, that if your bonnet is getting chipped, you're following too close to vehicles in front.

I don't like it, but I also like wind deflectors for the window. I will have HEKO wind deflectors when I get my Tucson but some people won't like them either.
