Did I crash

Could not see this one in a scan of the huge manual, so the lazy option.

Is this similar to when my Volvo would get all excited and tell me it had avoided a collision that I didn't notice?

Or is something broken, seen this twice now.

Some sensors are not clean enough for the driving aid systems to properly function. This is usually happening in the morning, after the temperature was low during the night. It will start working after driving a few minutes.

probably just mist on the camera lens. it should clear out when the car warms up. until then, the crash collision avoidance system is non-functional, and that's the meaning of the warning light.

Thanks - I guessed along those lines, I expect the area in from of the camera is heated so it clears quickly.

On again tonight, drove 12 miles, car warmed up and screens clear, seems like something is broken, is it not heated?

On a very wet drive of a couple of hundred Klm. I got error messages constantly from the front sensors. I guess that they don't get much rain in Korea if they make such a basic error in design.

Maybe something is not right with your configuration. For me, it clears within minutes of starting driving. Also, check the radar sensor in the lower front grille to be clean, some have reported issues because of that. If error persists, check in at a Hyundai service center.

The temperature plunged to 4 degrees this morning.

I got 4 warnings for front detection, blind spot, lane tracking and driver fatigue, took about 5 miles to clear.

This cannot be normal, maybe mine has not been sealed properly, or they sealed some water in the housing?

It’s seems that my car is a fair weather car and doesn't like the rain. I did a 90 mile journey with some light rain and some heavy rain and i got the warning 4 times with the icon (shown in the first post) on my screen. It remained on screen for about 20 minutes on two occasions. My previous 73 reg car from last year which was the same model never brought up this warning at all and i drove it all winter in lots of heavy rain and neither did it show up on cold mornings with plenty of mist on the screen, so I think its a fault.
