Towing - Tucson 1.7 Diesel GO AUTO

So, I have the above car which has a tow capacity of 1650kg, but I've read so many stories about towing or not towing with essentially a dual clutch auto box. What is the truth about this? I have a Freelander 2 that will be my main tow car, bit on the on odd occasion I may want to use the Tucson...
Everyone's thoughts? anyone tow with the 1.7?
