Tucson Sat Nav file format?

I saved all the downloaded *.kml files I produced from POI Editor to a folder on my PC and then loaded them on a USB,
The *.kml files were named in POI Editor.
I plugged this into the USB port on the Tucson and selected download POI’s, I think, it’s a while since I did it.
I was then given an option to choose which I wanted to download, sorry to be so vague.
It certainly worked as we visited many of the Outlander filming places plus many Historic Scotland places as well as English Heritage venues. Using imported POI’s.

I just named them as the place to visit such as Pitlochry Hydro.kml
I think you had to use the root level of the USB and I seem to remember there was an option to import poi's and choose which, not sure where they were saved on the car's sat nav system, they were just there when wanted.
