Hi all,

I did try all the tips and unfortunately, none worked.
At the car 🚗 main console all works fine. (All Bluelink services are working)
Just the connection via the phone app not working.😥

So, if I’m understanding this right, you’ve connected your phone to the car via Bluetooth using the code provided but the app on your phone still isn’t connecting to the car.
This probably sounds daft but have you rebooted your phone just in case, it must be very frustrating for you. Good luck

Hi all,

This is what I have done since last night plus all the tips here provided.

I have deleted and reinstalled the Bluelink app a few times and rebooted my smartphone a few times, and that didn't help at all.
I'm able to logon into the app with my user's account via Wi-Fi and 5G, 4G.....
I did install the Bluelink app on another smartphone and I encounter the same error.
The Bluelink app is up-to-date, I did double check on Google play store.

I then, did checked the car Bluelink settings and clicked on ‘reconfigure’.
After that didn’t work, I can't connect to the car 🚗 via Bluelink.
I then stuck a paper clip in the reset hole near the radio controls and that reinstated it.
After the reset of the car main console, it continues not working.
Bluelink services within the car (weather, traffic info, sports, etc....) are working.

UPDATE!!!

I did contacted the Bluelink support team and got this as a reply to my Bluelink app issues.

"Dear Mr. De Castro,

Thank you for your message.

Temporary network errors are currently occurring due to server issues. We are already working hard on a solution to make the Bluelink services available to you as usual as quickly as possible. We therefore ask for your patience until the systems function properly again.

Please try to reset the infotainment system first. To do this, please take a pen, go to your vehicle, find the small hidden button on the infotainment frame and press it with the pen. This causes the vehicle modem to establish a new connection.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a nice day.

Rainer

감사합니다 | Best regards | Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Your Bluelink Team"

Question for you..
Going by your pics it says you are roaming and have 2 data networks?
Could this be an issue on your phone that is causing some kind of conflict?

Hi Unimatrix,

Good question, let me explain.

I have an Android phone with a Dutch physical SIM card and a French eSIM (virtual card), the French eSIM is roaming in the Netherlands for the phone calls and the data is turned off.
Data is only enabled on the Dutch Physical SIM card.
I have been using this configuration since almost 1 Year and no issues.

Today, I did install the Bluelink app on another android phone with only 1 Dutch SIM with Data and I have the same issue trying to reach my Tucson via the Bluelink app.

I hope this answer your question.
Cheers,

António.
