2016 1.7 Diesel Tucsan Door catch.

Hi, We have a 2016 1.7 Diesel Tucan with a problem on the Front Drivers door catch mechanism, the outside door handle need to be pulled 3 or 4 times before it opens, inside handle is fine, I did order a replacement off Ebay but it was the wrong one and had to refit old one. Has anyone had similar problems and if yes is it repairable or a new one required? If a new one is required where would be the best place to get one. Hope some one can help.
