Craig,
I don't see a link to your conversation with Hyundai.
However, I've just downloaded the May 2022 update but haven't had chance to update it in the car. Are there any major changes?

From the thread, and also reading the update website, it looks like the Tucson (Gen5W) version is not yet available. It implies that it will be available early in June.

The signposting on the site is terrible, and could be greatly improved!

Richard,
On my version of the Updater, it clearly states that it is for the Gen5W version of the Tucson Hybrid. Which version of Tucson do you have?

Same as you. The software version in the May update, is the same as the November version (NX4e H.EUR.S5W L.001.001.220211). The last 6 digits refer to the date - 2nd Feb 2022.

Therefore I’m hoping the forthcoming Gen5W specific one, is the one we are waiting for - https://update.hyundai.com/EU/E1/updateNoticeView/904

Academic to me as Hyundai have been unable so far to replace my broken not functioning USB port!

I dunno, the update was new to my car!

I can understand the date on the software being a month or two prior to the date it gets released. Testing takes time. Can't understand how the previous update released in November 2021 could be dated December though!

It is confusing, probably because map and software updates are done at the same time. Having read that the currently available May update doesn't include map updates I didn't bother with it.

I downloaded the May update and started the install. At which point, it told me the files were the same as the one I did in March. But I've left it going anyway.

I own a 2022 Ultimate Hybrid with Tech Pack - in Red (best colour).
Also have two motorcycles. Honda CB1300 and Honda CBF1000 (also red, of course).

I had a Chat session yesterday with Hyundai. Looks like the Gen5W update will be made available next week (w/c 20th June).

I asked if there was a change log available, but all they could tell me was Android Auto will be full screen with this update.
