Perhaps I’m missing something but I cannot find any way to delete notifications.

At the moment, there are only two but I find it odd that after reading notifications, there seems to be no way of deleting them.

Can you point me in the right direction, please?

Assuming you mean notifications on this site: when logged in click on the red circle beside Notifications. A separate box will appear and at the top right of that box you'll see Mark All Read. Click on that text and another box will appear telling you that Notifications have been read, however, that red circle does not disappear immediately, but if you log out and then log in again the Notifications will be gone.

Thanks for the response, ‘pharaoh’. If only I had a red circle! I’m rather fed up of logging out/logging in to see if I can achieve the desired effect.

I use either a Windows 11 laptop or Android tablet and phone to access the site and notifications work the same on each of them. What are you using ?

Maybe a PM to alan sh is the order of the day if he doesn't notice your thread.

I'm not sure you can delete them. Just mark them as read and ignore them.

Which browser are you using? Try using a different browser.
It could be something as simple as a cache issue with your current browser.
Also does it happen if you access the forum on a different device?

Oops, I deleted a post from the original poster by mistake. It only disagreed with my statement and I was trying to explain it - but pressed the wrong button,

But as he has now removed himself, I'm not going to worry too much about it.
