Don’t know if anyone can help me , I have a 2023 plug in hybrid Tucson with everything in terms of accessories except a tow bar . So lots of electronic gizmos . The problem is that I had lent my car to my wife whose car was stolen and although it was recovered we have been waiting for months for Toyota to fix it . So I lent her my Tucson, with one of the two keys .
She lost the key fob, so we only have one left , which scares the bejeebies out of me , as she is a serial car key loser (I did have a tile on the one I gave her but it isn’t signalling) .
Is there some way of finding the fob electronically as she may have left it somewhere in the house ? Once she found a set of old keys when we were digging up a flowerbed… but I still haven’t found a jaguar fob she lost ten years ago.
