I’ve read some people having issues with the fuel flap releasing, but my issue is slightly different in that my flap seems poorly aligned. Had my Tucson since May 2022 and have only recently noticed this, so I think it is a new development as opposed to it always having been like that.
Essentially, the flap doesn’t sit properly flush with the recess. Depending how it’s closed, as in where pressure is applied, there’s either a noticeable gap at the top or at the bottom.
Has anyone else had this happen and is it something I can fix myself or should I take it to a dealer? If it’s a simple fix I’d rather see to it myself but the manual does t say anything about it. Thanks.
