New Delivery of Tucson HEV Ulitmate 230PS

I am really pleased with the car so far but still yet to figure out all the tech stuff etc... I am interested in adding some running rails for cosmetic purposes.. Any recommendations on this model, tips etc welcomed ... great to be part of the forum too.

Hi, I just got the dealer to fit my sidesteps (running rails) before delivery, it was easier than buying and fitting them separately and then if there was a problem further down the line I could always go back the the main dealer. I got them so my youngest grandchildren could use them when getting in and out. I had them on my Sorento but hadn’t realised how low the Tucson is in comparison so I don’t think I really need them. But, having said that I think they look quite good, although that is just a personal choice. I’ve added photos that I took.

I was just gonna say, is that an Ultimate? Because of the sidesteps then read what you said haha.
They do look the part tho, im impressed.

It is the ultimate, unfortunately they don’t come as standard though

I can see the point of sidesteps on an SUV-type car if a driver or regular passenger is disabled to the point where entry and exit might be difficult. Other than that scenario, it’s just ‘bling’ as able-bodied people can manage perfectly well without them. Each to his/her own, I suppose.

Her RAV4 was delivered like that. She didn't order them (it was a pre-registered car).
