Tucson Ultimate Hybrid Self Charging - been driving for 5 months and using Android Auto without any problems. Since my Samsung S20 5G phone received an update to Android 12 and a further update to Android Auto in the past few days, the car no longer recognises the phone - just nothing at all when it is plugged in via USB. Tried my wife's older Samsung running Android 10 and it works perfectly. Dealer is looking into it, they haven't received any other reports as yet but I suspect an incompatibility between the Hyundai software and the new version of Android. Hope it gets fixed and that Hyundai and Google don't blame each other! I miss Waze and Spotify! Any suggestions?

Have you updated your infotainment software to the latest update
You can do it yourself quite easily now

Also, may seem obvious, and may have already tried this. But have you tried restarting your phone, or testing with another USB cable? I've had issues like this with my old Tuscon (still waiting for my new one) and Android 12 on my Samsung S21, and one of those 2 things usually resolved the issue.

Yes tried all the obvious things including restarting phone, different leads (all work with wife's older phone) cleared cache etc. I think it's an issue with Android 12
