Today, SWMBO divested herself of her 20-year old Skoda and is now struggling to understand all the gadgets and gizmos in the tech-laden Bayon Ultimate 120PS model with DCT.

I have to say it’s a lovely little car, essentially an i20 in a different set of clothes. It will take her some time though to come to terms with the car as she has never owned an automatic before. Exciting to drive, it is not but it’s very relaxing, quiet and smooth over most surfaces. It has a good sound system. The little three-pot motor has a nice, subdued rasp to it and the overall experience compared to her previous diesel Fabia is like night and day. I think she will come to really enjoy her new acquisition.
