Music formats on USB drive.

Not sure if this has already been covered elsewhere but what music formats can I play via a USB drive?

Does it need to be formatted in a particular way e.g. EXFAT, FAT32, NTFS

I think most of my stuff is in MP3 and FLAC.

Pretty much all my music is MP3 and is on a memory stick formatted to FAT32
The memory stick plugs into the left hand USB socket, not the right hand side which is purely a power socket.
