Great news. Good luck for today. Enjoy the buzz and finding out all about the new Tucson. Yes the 40k tax is a pain hence why I never ordered the tech pack. Refuse to pay any more gov tax penalisation ripping us off.

Can you not see what wbac etc are offering and change to purchase only rather than p/ex. Would of thought dealer not be bothered and one less thing to deal with for them???

The 16th came and went, no Tuscon. Been in Tilsbury for 4 weeks and the Evans Halshaw have no idea when it will come now (WTF)? They said it will just turn up one day!
I have no car at all now as previous had to be handed back to VWFS. What in Gods name is wrong with this Country??? 😡

Tenbytriker - well done for holding on to the same PX price since January.

My Tucson's ready for collection too, but my dealer is knocking £2k off the PX price we agreed in January, even though we had a deal that I paid a deposit on! They wouldn't budge on it though, and basically said 'take it or leave it' knowing they could have another buyer lined up almost immediately, and probably sell the car at a higher price too.

Despite this, I'm still looking forward to getting my car. I hope you enjoy yours!

My dealer told me that the p/ex price was only valid for 2 months. I was lucky and got a cancelled order (possibly one who walked away from a re-evaluation?) so my p/ex price was still valid when the car arrived.

Sounds like you did get lucky. Someone's loss is another person gain.

I was hoping the dealer might meet me half-way, and despite threatening to walk away, they weren't having it. I still want the car after waiting this long, so I'm lumbered with the extra 2k. It was a struggle to even get a set of car mats out of them as a goodwill gesture!

That’s really bad that they’re taking advantage of delay to make more money knowing full well that you can’t really cancel.
I did my deal in mid march, luckily the dealer already had a car on order so I only had to wait until mid June, there was never any mention of changing the part ex deal though.
