I have had my car now 3 months & 2 new things i learnt about my car today

1. The numbers on the speedo get bigger as the needle crosses them

2. On unlocking car with fob keep pressing the unlock button & all four windows go down & when you do the same to lock all windows go up

What little things have you learnt about your Tucson?

You can program the star key on the info display to go to Android Auto or Apple Carplay without having to wade through menus.

You can do this in most Hyundai's I think, I can do it in my current Tucson and could do it in my i30N too.

Can you advise how you did this. On the button settings page I just get a few options but no reference to carplay

On the settings it’s not down as CarPlay it’s under screen mirror or something like that. But it’s only on the screen button and not on the steering wheel button if that make sense. I have my Bluetooth dongle in the usb and that’s all I need to do is press the favourite button on the screen and it works

Found out today that the interior lights or map lights in the front are also switches. I knew there were buttons to turn the interior lights on or set them on auto but only just found out that the individual lights can be pressed to turn them on separately.

I noticed that the instant fuel consumption bar in the bottom centre of the dash, has a little vertical line on it. I've only just realised that this line occasionally moves slightly as it represents the average MPG, so it's easy to tell if you're right foot is a bit too heavy when you're cruising, and lowering your average MPG.

3 things I didn't know before car arrival would be:

1. You can play movies and videos on the car screen.
2. You can use the voice control on the steering wheel to operate the windows, boot or climate control.
3. Sun Shades fitted in the back.
