Hi all, has anyone had a dashcam hard-wired by Halfords, and did they do a good job?

The good thing about Halfords is that they are insured, so if there is a problem it can be fixed.
If you are unsure try your dealer if they can fit or recommend a company to use.
Or take a trip to a larger Halfords store and have a word with the senior fitter and not a billy 12 hours.
To see if they would be happy to take it on.

Thanks, joolstdi, I only asked because the last time I had one fitted by them, it was a Merc and they cracked the windscreen. Yes, they did get it replaced, but I was not best pleased. As you say, I don't think he had any Idea.

I have them fitted front and back and plugged into the 12 v sockets. It’s not too difficult to route the wires. The rear facing is on the back window.

These instructions actually helped me install a front a rear dashcam myself on my Tucson a few weeks ago.
