It looks like some US vehicles are able to use AA in widescreen following a software update.

The article points to an April 2022 update, which is available to US users. Hope the UK version rolls out for us soon.

Fingers crossed! I'm kind of used to the AA logo taking up a chunk of the screen but it'll be a bonus if they manage to change that. The end goal would be wireless AA!

Wireless AA wuld require wifi from the head unit, I think. Unless someone knows better.

Widescreen should be possible as a software update. But the US spec. cars have different ( Android based ) firmware so their changes don't necessarily read across to European cars.
