Our Hybrid 230 N Line S in Shadow Grey got to the dealers on Tuesday, so will be picking up on Friday

Good news when did you order? I was originally going for same car, trim, colour but was told shadow after Xmas and dark knight before Xmas... turns out it didn't matter

Ordered 10/9/21 for a hugely estimated 01/12/21 delivery. Car was built end of Dec and docked at Tilbury on the 5th Jan. Apparently the dealer had 4 N Line's delivered on the transporter.

So not too long after my dealer ordered mine for stock. I was told by supply N lines went on back order and mine wasn't accepted until November. So 2 months after order. They also had issues with the n line production and were going to stop it at one point. May explain our daft waits.

Below is a response the dealer got when asked Hyundai where orders were on the 21st Dec. I wonder what the production line issues were with the N Line's ?

'Regarding Tucson orders, production of MY22 starts in Jan and by mid Jan, we will have CoC data ready for registration.
This was also communicated and this was the reason for increasing orders of MY21 for October production.”
So it looks like it will be built in Jan for a Feb delivery. What is so disappointing is that they obviously knew this but haven’t changed the dates on the ordering system we see that kept showing build dates in November & then December.

That is good to know. I think when I ordered I was MY21 then it changed to MY22 towards end of last year. VW MY goes June to June so Hyundai must do it Jan to Jan. The lack of transparency to customers is awful though. Can't just keep blaming chips for lack of customer service. Probs ran out of the N line alloys or something daft.

I’m guessing it’s year of manufacture. Don’t know if it will make any difference to specs.

It just means model year. As the Tucson hasn't changed since 2021 it will make no difference to the appearance

There have been some changes between MY21 and MY22, from the website, the only bit that I have seen for the UK is for the tech pack, but in other countries there have been lots of changes across the models.

It is likely to also include some fixes for issues that were found in the MY21

That's good to know. You'd be raging if you wanted certain features when you ordered and then like mine it changed model year due to the wait and it was then missing features. On the n line s are the door mirrors and roof the same colour or black? Just I've seen the shadow grey for example with black roof and mirrors yet other colours the mirrors and roof match the main body

Shaun the S has the pan roof so as far as I know will be black
