Morning all just a update , looks like no one on the forum had their cars on the 12th of April which is a shame.
I wonder what has happened but there are cars out there, as long as you will travel.
I found on Ebay unregistered and Ex demo cars worth a look, they look like cancelled orders.

Ordered it on 4th Nov and was told the end of Dec then early Feb and finally early April but we’ll worth the wait, having talked to the dealer he said they are coming through a lot quicker now so hopefully yours will arrive sooner rather than later

Hi all been doing some digging and there are rumours that the plug in or hybrids ultimates / Nline are being built in Korea.
Sorry I'm bored in bed with covid

there is a ship docking in tilbury on the 14th of may and that departed from Ulsan Korea on April the 9th, the ship is called the
Morning Concert and will be going through the Suez canal on the 5th of may.
this might be a part shipment of other hyundai Electric cars or ioniq 5 cars.

Now this now makes sense for delivery for the first week of June.

so fingers crossed this works out.

Just received the email I had been waiting for..

Car delivered to dealer yesterday and will be ready for collection on the 30th......Was in a large batch of cars delivered to the dealer which took them by surprise apparently..

Problem Is I cannot do the 30th as I am away that weekend.

Sounds like more cars are coming through are coming through are coming through now. 16 weeks from order to delivery...

For those awaiting their cars it's worth the wait. Had mine just under 2 months and I'd say it was worth the gruelling 6 months it was on order for.

The Neckar highway has left Gdańsk and is docking on the 26th of April in tilbury, so some lucky people will be getting there car in the next 2 weeks.
I am still waiting for confirmation from Hyundai for delivery 1st week of June

I’ve seen people mention the tracking of transport ships, does anyone know for definite where the Tucson is made though? I saw a post the other day suggesting that hybrid and PHEV where made in Korea?

Yes they are made in South Korea but the ones for europe and some of Asia are made in the Czech republic. Also seen some from Czech go to Australia/NZ. Ones for the Americas are made in USA.

I think the Hybrid & PHEV ones are made in S Korea and the others elsewhere. But I could be wrong.
