Hi
When I went to put petrol in he Tucson 2016 I noticed what I initially thought was escaped petrol but was in fact water. Today I just checked after a very heavy downfall of rain and there was a considerable amount of water resting at the bottom of of the filler cap. Looking on the left there seemed to be a hole from where the water was running but not 100% sure and the whole of that side of it seemed to be open so dont know if its meant to be like that or something has dropped off

I just wondered if anyone has had the same problem and how did you resolve it

Thanks

I have a PHEV and under the flap where the charger socket is it often collects water. I haven't noticed under the petrol flap but I don't fill up with petrol that often in comparison.

Thanks but my Tucson is a 2016 diesel automatic - so I think I might have to take it to a dealer

Sorry, I missed the model year in your original post. Hopefully you get it sorted.
