Cruise control differences?

The distance for adaptive control can be changed, Just scan the owners manual in the info screen, there should be instruction on how to change the distance

Yes the distance can easily be changed. There are four settings and they are toggled using the button on the steering wheel on the bottom right (underneath the cruise on/o0ff and pause button). It doesn't however change the rate of braking just how close you get to the car in front.

Good advice ExTyke.

Something I will be able to take because I just found a great deal on a Premium trim mild hybrid. The cruise control will be just one of the many new features I will have to learn. I’ll be collecting next weekend.

Is it a model with the DCT gearbox?

Yes it is.

And I’m still learning some of the features of the trim.
