New Car Trim Defect Query

I got my new Tucson Hybrid Ultimate last week, was brand new but I have a query over the trim on the hard plastic to the right of the centre console. There is what looks like raised left over from the mould which is quite obvious to me. I can see a similar line on the left side but it is flush with the plastic. I have raised this with the dealer and they said that is it a trait of the model and is like that on other cars if I have a look, this does not seem right to me so can I query to see if anyone else has this on theirs? They said I could look at having the panel replaced under warranty but it would still be similar.

I also have a squeaky centre armrest on the left hand side, anyone know how to make that go away?

Nope, not on mine - get them to replace it and deal with the squeak

Yes it on mine too never really noticed it looks like that side is stuck on by the way it looks like moulded on to the side piece so must be same on other cars but not all apparently

I have that "shape" on the centre console. It is not squeaky. Mine was built in late Jan or early Feb 2023

Mine has it but barely noticeable on my 2021 model, so much so, I hadn't seen it until mentioned here. Not something that bothers me I have to say. No other squeaks/creaks at all, not even from the pano roof anymore.

Great, thanks for that. Will want to get the squeaking armrest sorted so can see what the dealer says about the mark on the trim.
