Isn't this true for all countries? I think I heard all hybrid Tucson's are made in Korea, even the US models.

From Reddit I got that they also make the non-hybrids in America for the market over there. That's where I also think I saw that all the Hybrids are built in Korea.

Yes that’s what I was told and specifically that my order was in Korea so I doubt they got the geographic location that wrong!

Dealers have been known to lie in the past. people have a perception on certain countries producing products of a certain quality.
When my partner bought her Audi, she was told it was of course ... German! When tracking the build of the car, it was quite clear that it was being made, like most Audis, in Hungary.
Hyundai being Korean, the dealer probably told you what he thought you wanted to hear, likely have 0% clue himself.

Hi Scotsman, we are about to order one also. Who did you order from, an independent or a chain. We have never had a Hyundai before but value after sales service.
