Hi,
I got my Tucson in may and yesterday I took it for a ceramic coating but the guy said that he couldn't do it because the paint has clear coating defects. I have never noticed it before. He suggested that I should take it back to the dealer.
Have someone had the same problem?
Paint defect
I've got very similar on the bonnet but its harder to make out on my black Tucson (and smaller), I am very tempted to call this in to a dealership but worried about the delays etc.
What are you thinking? Anyone else had similar?

2022 Ultimate - Phantom Black
I'm a smart repairer by trade, this looks as though it could be clearcoat delamination, which is a worry if it came directly from the Czech factory like that. The pictures aren't the easiest way to tell. I would challenge the dealer first to confirm if, for any reason, they may of had to repair the paint on the car prior to handover. Next would be the customer care at Hyundai direct. Could be advisable to visit a reputable bodyshop and ask for their opinion. Worth having an experts viewpoint in your pocket when challenging Hyundai. The bodyshop should be able to use kit that can check the paint layers (checking for repairs etc).
Hope that helps. As mentioned, suncream can also have a similar effect.
