Hi all wondering if someone can advise what the button does next to the phev charging port. It appears to integrate a light as well that seems linked to its charge status “orange or green” but the rubberised button I am trying to understand its function and what the coloured light is telling me. Any advise very much appreciated.

The button itself is just a sensor to detect when the flap is open. The light has various phases of operation which are described in the manual.

With the usual proviso that which features apply to which model and in which country is always left to some doubt in Hyundai's documentation.

As above, but pressing the button overrides a scheduled charge.
For example if you have a home charger and setup the car to charge 01:00-04:00 but stopped at a cafe one lunchtime and plugged in, the car will be waiting for 01:00 to start charging. Press the button and it will start immediately
