Hi,

Has anyone else had the problem when driving high speeds (motorway for example) that the vents allow through hot air even when all the temperature controls are off? I usually keep the air-con off where I can, in order to go as far as possible on electric charge (car is 2022 PHEV) and in spring it usually isn't cold enough to warrant the heaters on so it is all turned off yet I still feel a lot of heat coming through. It gets that hot I end up having to open the windows on the motorway and end up going deaf from the road noise.

Is there a way to turn this off or anyone know the cause?

So far it seems that if you switch off using the fan-off button and air conditioning off it retains the previous settings for the mechanical flaps etc. I have noticed that I can get significant air flow at speeds above 40 mph like this. Perhaps you could try setting the cabin temperature well below ambient before switching off as above. I haven't had any hot air as yet its always been cool.
