I was wondering if anyone knows how to turn off the motion sensor to prevent the car alarm sounding during a ferry crossing. I went to the Isle of Wight recently and, much to my embarrassment, returned to the sound of my alarm. Yes, I was that guy!

The manual didn’t seem clear to me and what I did obviously didn’t work.

More intrigued than anything. I don’t have any further ferry crossings planned but others might.

Thanks in advance.

Search in settings for "Advanced Anti-theft" and disable it. Lock the car. Alarm should only sound of a door lock is forced. I think it resets when you next unlock it, not sure.

Glad this got brought up today as I'm getting on a ferry in the morning. :D
I knew about the Advanced Anti-Theft but I wouldn't have thought to turn it off unless the crossing was likely to be rough.

Hi Just come back from the Isle of Wight. I just locked the car with the key not the fob this seems to work. I had no alarm either way 😀
