Hi, I am new to the forum.
My Tucson is now 5 months outside it warranty, and when the dealership serviced the vehicle they noted an amber warning that the 4 wheel drive clutch seal was leaking and had to be replaced at some point and quoted £900. Requested an out of warranty contribution and both Hyundai and the dealership do not want to know given the argument that it had just fallen outside the 5 year warranty, a significant part and the vehicle has only done 27,000 miles. Been a customer with the dealership for 13 years.
Has anyone experienced problems with their 4 wheel drive clutch failing or seal issues and whether they have had it repaired by an independent garage and whether there any cost saving? Is this something that is common on these vehicles?
