Re: Headlamps not very effective
https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/motoring-news/rac-calls-for-government-action-on-headlight-glare/ Are they poor or just not as bright as other cars? Excellent point. I've been driving since the late 70s having owned everything from a Mk1 Cortina through to the Sierras, Granada's, Marina's, and eve...

How long would you want sit in the car with no heating?
If it's more than a few minutes why not just leave the car on?

Re: 2023 hybrid battery charge level
It is important to think about the EV battery in a different way to the old 12v ancillary battery that we all know. In summary the EV battery is there to make the petrol engine more efficient. This is an extract from an article that I stumbled across when I was looking at buying an HEV (I'd already ...

Re: New Tucson GPF light on
I thought I best add to this, as I can see the future TV campaign now “were you mis-sold a Tuscan?” After a 11 month wait I took delivery of my 23 plate on March 1st 23. At 460 miles the exhaust filter warning appeared. In spite of doing all the manual suggested, at a cost of around £7 in fuel at t...

It will have been charging your old battery at a given rate and unless it is told about a new battery it may over charge the new one. This is a generalisation of battery management...

There's a battery status bar on the drivers dash in the right had dial.
Not sure what sort of benefit you are looking for but even in Eco mode there's fairly rapid acceleration and more so in sport mode.
