Re: 2022.. surely the year I finally get my new car!!
I’ve seen people mention the tracking of transport ships, does anyone know for definite where the Tucson is made though? I saw a post the other day suggesting that hybrid and PHEV where made in Korea? Yes they are made in South Korea but the ones for europe and some of Asia are made in the Czech re...

Re: Feeling road through pedal
As old man says it is impossble to diagnose without phisically experience it.. Personally I would doubt it is vibration from the road, if it was you would get different effects with different surfaces. What I can say is that, after owning 2 PHEV cars, I noticed that when the car depleted the electri...

Re: Can you change the Speedometer?
You will know if you are exceeding the local speed limit as the number of the speed limit on the left hand cluster will change from black to red. Only if the speed sign recognition has picked it up. Not really that anyway, just that the analogue is not good for just a glance to instantly know the s...

Can you change the Speedometer?
The analogue speedometer seems to be poorly thought out. You have to judge a mid point for the speeds of 30, 50, and 70mph, which are the ones mostly needed. My previous car had an analogue dial but with a digital readout in the centre which, I thought, was perfect. I know I can have the speed displ...

Re: Auto Hold and Sat Nav questions
, just been out and fiddled and there is a night mode. Go to Navigation on the info screen; Press Settings at top left of screen; Press Map on LHS of screen; Press Colour Scheme; There are then 4 options of background colour - press Black and hey presto !! Now that sunny days are here I find the co...

Re: Why does my new Tucson forget settings?
Now seems to wipe the "since refuelling" figures and turns off the air con daily. Anyone know of an email for Hyundai technical as this seems to be a software/sensor issue which needs sorting.

I haven't come across it on the Tucson either. On other cars though.

Re: Question about hybrid push button auto gearbox
The EPB only engages when selecting "park" if you have "autohold" on, This caught me out at first when the car started to move in "drive" as I took my foot off the brake. That makes sense. I guess I’m still adapting, as my last car (2018 X3) allowed auto hold to always...

Re: Why does my new Tucson forget settings?
Not done it for ages but today it did. Refuelled a week ago and checked daily but today on first startup the mileage had zeroed and the air con was off. Didn't get the T & Cs message though and retained my usual choice of map display on startup. Anyone found a solution for this yet? I have the l...
