Re: Delighted new owner - except for the Sat-Nav
I'm with Alan here. I find the inbuilt sat nav perfectly adequate and if there's a sat nav on the market that can please everyone, please show it to me. I'm currently on my second trip to France with mine and it hasn't failed yet to get me to a destination. Perhaps I expect less from modern technolo...

Re: Scratches
My car gets light use so I haven't yet experienced any scratching. I don't know if there's any car specific protective film available, but cling film won't last 5 mins. On a previous car I found that I was scratching the plastic trim on the inside of the B pillar when entering/exiting the car. To p...

Re: Windows up
Is this a feature on all models or just certain ones.
Im asking purely out of interest as I never drive with the windows open when I have air con. If there's a glass roof fitted, driving with the windows open puts extra stress on it.

Re: Windows up
The wife found a new feature I never realised this car had! Whilst driving to collect our son from Heathrow she drove through the tunnel near the airport with the windows down the car then automatically closed all the windows because of poor air quality which is pretty cool!!! Other techie features...

Yes press full editor and picture uploads next to submit button where you're typing a standard reply to a thread then add a file from your cameras internal memory OR take a photo when using your phone anyway. Otherwise it's a whole thing about accessing the phones photo on your pc and uploading it ...

Re: Noises and other matters
If you live in a hilly area you may get aggravated by it, but in normal, average everyday conditions it's not a problem and just becomes one of the idiosyncrasies of what is generally a fine car imo. Well, living in the Peak District….. that’s me done for. 🙃 I think a man of your calibre and experi...

Re: Hyundai Tucson Pictures
Thanks guys and on the subject of adding photos, is there a way to do it without using a hosting site ? I've only ever managed it using a hosting sight - Imgur in my case.

Re: Noises and other matters
I have the same model as you and yes, they do make noises that haven't been apparent in previous, normally aspirated cars. The gearbox holding onto gears longer than you might be used to in other autos is normal in this model. Some find it very annoying, I find it mildly irritating occasionally, dep...
