Anyone experiencing faults with this forum site ?

Is anyone experiencing glitches with the forum when bringinging it up on screen and when logging in and out ?
I'm assuming it's a problem with the forum as I'm not experiencing problems elsewhere on my computer.

Re: I need help

I agree with what Big S has written and if you can't adjust your driving habits to accomodate the way the auto HEV works, then you bought the wrong car. You can't compare your car to other makes. My Tucson auto works much differently to the two previous Skoda DSG boxes I had, but it's none the worse...

Re: HEV 12V Battery investigations

To me and I suspect many others, this is gobbledygook, so can you explain your findings in laymens terms and what they mean in regard to why our HEV cars lose settings and sometimes the car needs to be unlocked manually and the reset button is required ? For info, and I've no idea if it makes any di...

Re: Losing confidence

Good question and maybe I worded my comment badly. It's not so much that I've changed the way I use the car, it's more an acceptance of the way the car operates and going with rather than fighting it and moaning about it. Things changed for me when we sold our second car and used the Tucson on a mor...

Re: Losing confidence

Trouble is Terry, we wouldn't know what to investigate. If I was in the market to get another Tucson I'd choose the same drivetrain as the reasons I bought this one are still valid and I'm used to its foibles now. Whilst for some reason I'm not convinced of its longevity if I were a high mileage, he...

Re: Losing confidence

oldman - I don;t think charging works like that. I think the 12v battery is kept topped up all the time. Alan You might well correct Alan, I can find no information online that will corroborate or deny that theory. In fact, the more I read the more confused I get about how the hev system works. I p...

Re: Losing confidence

I also meant to say that if the 12v battery is depleted enough for the motors that drive the central locking to not operate electronically, then using Bluelink won't work either. It's not a fob fault, you just don't have enough power for the locks to operate.

Re: Losing confidence

It's a misconception to assume that many hours of driving before parking will alleviate the low 12v capacity problem. The battery can only take so much charge and when it's full, it's full. It also takes little to discharge it. So, a hypothetical situation; You've been driving the car with various e...

Re: Losing confidence

I think Mr Hornby has answered your problems. It's difficult to diagnose/comment on posts without having all the facts, so I'm going to use some guesswork. I'm amazed your neighbours can hear the alarm considering how quiet it is. Moving on, I'm guessing you don't use the car much and maybe when the...

[quote=Catblack post_id=10089 time=1685729476 user_id=1235 Hi Has anyone removed the N/s wing mirror on a 2022 MK 4 Premium model? Do you have to take the door pad off? Thank you in advance.
