Re: New owner of Hyundai Tuscon TGDi Hybrid 230 N Line S...but having problems!!
As well as all the glitches listed in this thread, yesterday evening my car alarm went off several times and unlocking/locking the car would not prevent it. Luckily my wife heard it, because the sound is too quiet for me. I searched the interior of the car to see if an insect was setting it off - n...

Re: New owner of Hyundai Tuscon TGDi Hybrid 230 N Line S...but having problems!!
The battery management system on the hybrid models will cut power to all but essential systems if the ( Lithium ) 12 volt supply drops below a certain level. After this point the driver needs to press the recovery switch and this will override the shut -off for a short time and that should allow the...

Re: Future plans for hybrid 4WD 230ps auto
Can't say that I strongly advocate 4WD but there are two situations where I do appreciate it. Re: DOES BLUELINK REGISTER CAR ALARM ACTIVATION ?
Yes it does. A fly inside the car set my alarm off this morning but the notification didn't tell me it was a fly! Sensitive but not very loud perhaps.

Re: Adjusting steering for the camber of the road
Its quite normal though in a sense artificial on a car that has electrical power assistance. Manufacturers try to give the steering some "feel" as demanded by motoring journalists etc. One aspect of this is the proportional reduction in assistance as speed increases which means you notice ...

Re: Change colour or sell
The problem is that all paint finishes, no matter which colour, are now so good that there are none which don't look relatively "spoiled" by a spec or two of dirt. I clean and wax once when new then try to resist any further washing except for glass cleaning. SUVs are supposed to look rugg...

Also remember that the AC will not be as effective in ECO mode and will take longer to respond.

Re: Wiper blades
When cars are showroom prepared they often get an unsuitable product on the windscreen which leaves a coating that is quite difficult to shift. On a slightly related note remember to read the manual to find out how to move the wipers to centre screen when turning off so that they can be flipped up w...
