Re: What would you change on the Tucson?
I have one more I would like to add for future cars: APAS = Adaptive POTHOLE Avoidance System (with night vision) I would like it now. When out driving I am mostly in slalom mode trying to avoid Bl**dy potholes, the roads where I live are like driving on the moon and getting worse not better. I have...

Re: What would you change on the Tucson?
I can't complain about the mpg on my HEV the dash is saying 48.2 mpg but on a very recent full tank to full tank fill up it worked out at 45 mpg which is not bad and that is mixed driving and sport mode, but I do use the get up to speed tip and gently lift off the go peddle until the green EV shows ...

Re: What would you change on the Tucson?
built in dash cam,
door mirrors that you can pull in above 6mph there is a lot of things in mirror that are not cheap to replace,
a rear wiper that sweeps the correct way for a RH drive car
Otherwise most of it is ok for me

Re: Panoramic glass roof insurance
The way I have read it the sunroof is covered under the glass section on T&C'S But looking online at various posts the panoramic roof is part of the car structure, so if it went and you have comprehensive insurance you would need to claim as if you had an accident but have to pay the full excess...

Re: Panoramic glass roof insurance
after reading this I thought it best to read my own T&C's on my policy which is via the bank and it says, If comprehensive cover and your claim is for the car windscreen, side windows or rear windows or sunroof contact claims dept, you will not loose your no claims discount you will pay the exce...

Re: Car Insurance Anomalies
I see what is being said about won't be using it much as removing the tow hitch when not in use, but are you removing the tow bar or just the tow hitch and replacing the tow hitch when you want to use it again ? if that is the case then the tow bar is still fitted as far as the insurance company is ...

Re: Fuel Filler Flap not sitting flush
As I mentioned and others in my earlier posts that the dealers know about this issue. I knew I was able to push and pull the fuel filler pipe up and down which it should NOT do, that made me think that there was perhaps something loose allowing the filler pipe to ride up a jubilee clip wants tighten...

Re: Groaning noise when auto hold releases
I have the hybrid if I put it in reverse with auto hold on it will not move ? I just turn off auto hold and ok. I think parking brake is rears only, if wet/raining or after cleaning if I park up overnight in the morning the rear brakes stick you feel it as you try to accelerate a little bang as they...

Re: Fuel Filler Flap not sitting flush
Before I booked the car in for this issue, I did as mentioned take off the filler cap and the flap sat flush, put cap back on and flap sticks out. The other thing I also did was give the filler Cap/filler pipe a slight push thinking it must have come up to cause the problem and it went into the car,...
