Re: HEV economy

I have done 1750 miles so far on a mixture of roads and my average mpg has been steadily improving and is now 49.2. I have been driving gently and find on motorways that the mpg falls off quickly as soon as you exceed high 60s mph. On local and minor roads I often achieve mid to high 50s. You quickl...

Re: New Hybrid MPG

Did a 81 mile journey today mainly on M40 and M25. Plenty of start/stop on M25 and restricted speed limits. Hybrid in its element in these conditions. Achieved 55.8 mpg - impressive!

Re: New Hybrid MPG

Have now completed 1100 miles in my Ultimate 230 HEV. Last 600 miles mainly on dual carriageway/motorway on trip from Oxfordshire to Northumberland and back. Overall mpg since purchase is 47.0 but unable to achieve more than 48/49 mpg on motorway despite being very light with my right foot and keepi...

Re: Self charging EV only range?

I don’t believe there is an electric only mode on the self charging hybrid; the car automatically decides on the optimum use/balance of electric power and petrol engine. Clearly when the green EV comes on you are using stored electric power but I am unaware of any means by which the driver can opt f...

Deals on new Tucson v delivery time

As there are new people joining the forum all the time and some who may not have ordered yet, I thought I would share my experience of trying to find the best deal for the car and how this might affect how long I might have to wait for delivery. I purchased a 230 self charging hybrid auto in shimmer...

Re: Date/Time out of sync

I have had the same issue as well - only once so far and GPS time reset fixed it. Have reported to dealership who have passed it on to Hyundai technical.

Re: Why does my new Tucson forget settings?

I have sent an email to my dealership about settings being reset/changed without input from the driver. I received a prompt response saying that the issue wasn’t known by their service team but they have passed it on to Hyundai technical. I picked my car up on 31 March and was informed it had the la...

Re: Why does my new Tucson forget settings?

I too have had one instance of clock not showing the right time and one reset to 22 degrees. Seems unexplained why this happens and hopefully a software update will resolve it.
