Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto

I've managed to get my hands on a Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Auto Dongle, from Amazon US, so I don't need to connect a cable to my phone to get Android Auto anymore. It took a bit of setting up, which I think is more to do with my phone than the dongle. One thing I've noticed, is that when androi...

Re: Sat Navigation - what is it?

The mapping may be good, but the GPS receiver isn't. Mine occasionally loses the signal or misinterprets it and I end up about 400 yards from where I should be - and this is normally driving down a motorway, so clear site of satellites. Re: Sat Navigation - what is it?

Good work in clarifying with Hyundai. It's good to know a quality system is being used for mapping.

I've been pleasantly surprised at how good the internal GPS system is on the Tucson compared to some other makes.

Re: May 2022 Update

I’ve just installed this, other than some voice assistant updates for the maps, I haven’t yet found anything new! Hopefully others here can prove me wrong… I did hear that Android Auto would be full screen, but as an iPhone user that does not apply to me. You heard right. The layout of Android Auto...

Re: May 2022 Update

How long does it take to update from when you plug in the USB stick and press go until you can drive the car? (sorry if silly question - this is the first time I will have updated having only picked up car on Monday!) Update took approx 30 mins for me. Mines just finished and it took about 50 minut...

Re: First accessories for your Tuscon ?

cubby holes/door pockets. What’s the quality like and do you have a link for these? I can't say about the quality yet. I'm away from home at the moment, and they were delivered the other day. Here's the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003741331426.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.e6971802KNN...

Re: Petrol particulate filter

The poor wording on that document says it was issued by Hyundai, either in South Korea of the Czech Republic. Much as I like my car, this looks like it's being a real pass it off exercise by Hyundai. Damned poor show, I thought they were better than that. It does seem to come from HQ somewhere, rat...

Re: Petrol particulate filter

That form looks official (from the manufacturer). I wonder if the dealer has created their own one (which they asked you to sign), effectively negating them of the need to support you? Possibly, but the dealer is about 100 miles away from where I live, so I don't think they were expecting to see me...
