Re: Software upgrades 20DC08

Had my first service on Thursday. I was told it would be two hours to wait and that is how long it took including a much appreciated mini valet inside and out. I was told there were three software updates to do however they weren't on the service sheet I was given afterwards.

I can't remember why I got one with both ends being 90 degrees. :?: I would think it's mainly the m...

Re: MPG much below official MPG

I had a Santa Fe 2.2CRD AWD before my Tucson, and in winter doing mainly town driving I only averaged 24mpg. If your 5 mile trips are single trips and between them the engine goes cold then this is likely to have a significant impact. This seems to be suggested in these links. https://mag.toyota.co....

Re: New software Nov23

Would be good to know if Hyundai have listed what voice commands are possible & in what worded command / format. I haven't looked for it in the manual, does anyone else know? This may help although get the feeling it isn't an exhaustive list. I plan to have a play with it when i've time. http:/...

Re: NX4 Tucson Annoyances

Agree with most of those already posted.

I also find the auto gearbox refusing to select reverse/drive unless I'm stopped completely still for what seems an eternity a pain. I've never had that issue with my previous autos but they have all been the stick variety.

Re: Permission to come aboard?

I have frequent drop outs on my Tucson and did on my previous Santa Fe. I mainly listen to music via a USB drive. This may help a little.

Re: Mud Flaps?

@joolstdi I totally agree re the length. For the extra £30 at least you got them fitted.

@Berty if you have the right tools and moderately competent they are easy to fit, if you aren't and don't have the tools like me then the rears can be a bit of a swine.
