Re: Insurance premiums
Another thing to consider. If you claim, your insurance company will try and direct you down the road of using their preferred repairer who might not be who you would prefer to use. You can insist on who you use but the insurers will do their best to avoid that so stand your ground.

Re: Lane keeping assistance - can it be turned off permanently?
This is unfortunately a feature of the european spec. cars. American spec. allows permanent setting. It is ironic that a feature locked down to improve safety actually makes it more dangerous. The steering suddenly deciding to point you into a hedge or towards oncoming traffic on a country lane is ...

Re: Ultimate vs N Line S
The ultimate has vented seats memory seats, electric adjustable seat, along with leather and a few safety features, We had the same dilemma when we ordered we knew we wanted plug in, but when we looked at the nline s v,s. luxury vehicle tax
I've been thinking about the extra luxury road tax charge that some of us will have to pay as the list price of some Tucsons are over £40K. I'd be interest to know if people are actually paying this list price on these over £40K spec vehicles or if it's all a scam.

Re: Why the Phev ?
Bad marketing by Hyundai. I doubt there is anyone out there that has paid £42K list price for a NLineS PHEV? Hyundai should've done away with all the BS discounts and just reduced the list price of the car below the £40K marker.

Yes I’ve thought about it and then moved on as there’s not much that you can do about it other then run on the petrol engine if the electric costs get out of hand.

Re: length of charging cable in plug in hybrid
I’ve gone for the Pod Point charger Solo 3 tethered 7kW. I placed my order on 07/012022 and had my installation dated confirmed yesterday for 16/02/2022. To get the grant the installation needs to take place before 31/03/2022. If you happen to decide to go with the Pod Point charger this MUST be via...
