Re: Bluelink V2.0.18 problems

Just tried the app again. Remote unlock was successful. When requesting a remote lock, the message "Vehicle permission revoked by vehicle owner. If you want to use the vehicle again, click [Request shared vehicle]" Then it was followed by a Network error message

Re: Bluelink V2.0.18 problems

When hyundai change T&Cs you get a prompt on the infotainment to accept them. I'm convinced that my Bluelink did not function correcty post an update until I had accepted the new T&Cs. Obviously I could be wrong, but you can accept new T&Cs and once done it effectively re-registers with...

Bluelink V2.0.18 problems

My bluelink app appears to have been updated recently and last time I used it, I needed to log in to my Hyundai account to access the features and then having carried out a remote unlock, it would not remote lock again, reporting I need to change the share status of the car. Wondering if this was a ...

Warning light overkill?

Had a recent instance of picking up a nail in a tyre tread. TPMS duly reported the loss of pressure in the affected tyre. Except that there were 4 (yes, four!) separate warnings displayed on the drivers screen. There was the main warning triangle at the top, the TPMS warning, and then two further wa...

Yes, two small cracks, but not worrisome. Not knowing the history of the car it was removed from, or even how it was removed, so I would have been more surprised if it had been perfect

Re: Auto Tranmission selection buttons

Funny how I was going to raise this very subject, only to find I have been beaten to it. The position of the current switches will have been fixed based on the old stick shift pattern from the 60s through to the 90s, as Jarvis wrote of P-R-N-D-2-1, with P being furthest forward and 1 furthest rearwa...

Re: Undertray trashed

That's quite badly damaged. I wonder if something in addition to the standing pond has impacted that. Difficult to say if there were other factors to the damage as its not something that you think about checking, even irregularly. Having said that I did split it in two during the removal, just to m...

Re: Undertray trashed

Managed to locate a second hand tray from a breakers here in the Midlands. Cost me £120 and a couple of gallons of fuel to collect. Then half an hour to remove the old one and refit the replacement. All straight forward with 7 bolts and 3 rivnut style fixings. Pics show the trashed one alongside the...

Re: Undertray trashed

Will you need to break into the piggy bank or is it worth an insurance claim? I guess a warranty claim would be turned down? Its going to be a piggy bank job. Car is due its first service next month, so want to try and get it sorted before then so I don't get the hard sell from a main agent to buy ...

Undertray trashed

While out driving yesterday in the rainstorms I happened to catch the edge of a large mass of standing water with the nearside wheels. This was on a road with a 60mph limit, in the dark and with only dipped headlights on. I didn't think anything of it at the time, except as I approached home I could...
