Re: Cold weather mpg in Hybrid 230
Yep, that seems about right and in line with what I get. The engine needs to generate heat for the climate control in the car and it cannot do this in EV mode so it keeps the ICE going even if there's plenty of power in the batteries. When doing small journeys and not getting the engine warmed up qu...

Re: 20 mph speed limit Wales 17th September
From experience, as my village is now all 20mph, it’s 100% picked up by the camera “reading” the road signs. Makes no difference to the idiots who still do 40-50mph on the lane where I am though

Re: Dash cam fitting, wiring from rear mirror
I don’t come on here that much - perhaps I should more often as I’ve been wanting to get a dashcam but didn’t want to hard-wire myself or have cables dangling. Halfords wouldn’t fit to a hybrid and the Hyundai dealer wanted extortionate money to fit a Nextbase 322GW (the only model they offer) which...

Re: Replacement windscreen
Not had any experience with my Hyundai but had 2 replacement windscreens fitted by National on my previous car, a Jaguar XF, which needed the calibration done in order for all the camera driven protection systems to perform correctly. They provided a 6 page computer printout showing it had all been ...

Newbie
Hi all, I’m new here and new to Hyundai! Picked up a one year old Hybrid 230 Premium with 8k on the clock yesterday. Quite impressed so far - been driving like an old lady so far while I get used to it but have averaged 54mpg for the first 100 miles of mixed roads. Only reason I bought it was becaus...
