Leaving Forum as Selling My Tucson

I have sold my 18 months old, 22 plate Tucson T-GDI HEV Ultimate with 7K on the clock and am buying a new Kia Sorento Edition (delivery mid October). The Tucson has been great but it was my original intention to get a Sorento back in 2021. After 14 months of waiting during covid, the Sorento was not...

Re: New Tucson Owner With Questions....

Its not illegal to keep your engine running on the driveway of your property or indeed anywhere that is not a public road or highway. The definition of a road is a road or highway where the public has access, so Tesco car park is illegal but your place of work car park may not be if there is a barri...

Re: Dash cam.

That looks similar to a Blackvue. I went for a Blackvue on my 2022 Hybrid Hyundai instead of a Nextbase which I have had on previous vehicles. Re: Software upgrades 20DC08 - Update

Yes, just noticed it this morning, the upgrade must have happened yesterday automatically. Nuisance will have to switch to auto android.

old man wrote: Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:51 pm That's encouraging news. Did you leave the interior alarm on ?
Yes, the alarm was fully on and the Black vue dashcam (which has no battery) had parking mode on in low detection setting. No indication the Black Vue shut down because of any voltage drop in the car supply, so its all reassuring.

Re: Fuel Filler Flap not sitting flush

Just an update, went online and bought a Hyundai Tucson July 2015 -onwards locking petrol cap from the Fuel Cap Company at Oswestry, for £19.99. See www.petrolcaps.co.uk search part DC048. Slimline vented cap with a lifetime guarantee and you can choose to lock it or not. Absolutely no interference ...
