Re: New Specs out for new Tucson in the UK

From the specs I've looked at on various site's & YouTube it looks as though Head-up display is only available in left hand drive markets presumably the right hand drive markets are too small to warrant it or Hyundai are trying to keep costs down by not offering it.

Re: New Specs out for new Tucson in the UK

Having compared the spec’s of the UK version to the USA & Korean models their equivalent top spec cars have Head-up display, finger print reader for the standard digital key plus a few other minor differences colour & trim wise. On the plus side Hyundai have at least attempted to keep the pr...

Re: Product Enhancement Inspection

Further news, after a long conversation with local dealer, the recall notice is a single page amendment to the owners manual which they don’t have and haven’t a clue when they’ll receive it from Hyundai….the best is they have to personally hand to me, that entails a 1.5 hour 50 mile round journey on...

New Tucson colours

Face lifted Tuscon is now available to order, in five new colours and a third interior colour option, interested to see that the Hybrid is available in 2 & 4 wheel drive now and the PHEV is also available in 2 & 4 wheel drive which should expand the sales as not everyone needs 4 wheel drive,...

Re: Product Enhancement Inspection

Apparently Product Enhancement Inspection is Hyundai’s new name for recall notices as it sounds less worrying or so the service department at my local dealer tells me…they were also confused as to why I’d received a letter as our car has no outstanding recalls pending.

Re: 4th Service cost in 'Service Plan'

My son has a lease Tuscon N Line S Hybrid on lease with maintenance, for the past two services 40k & 50K the lease company have insisted that he doesn’t use a main dealer but have sent him instead to a local independent garage, we can only assume that it’s because of his high mileage use, and th...

Product Enhancement Inspection

Wondered if anyone else has received a Product Enhancement Inspection recall letter, and knows what it involves, all the letter indicates is that any work required will be done free of charge, hopefully this will include fixing the fuel door that currently sticks out 20mm from the car.

Re: Seat Settings for Other Driver Applied After Bluelink App Use?

Out of interest do you both use the same key?, reason for asking was on our previous car BMW 4 series the driver profiles were coded to the key fobs, I’ve not tried it on the Tuscon as we both use the same key as we’ve only one car now and just use 1 or 2 depending who is driving, only difference is...

Re: SE Connect has halogen headlights, can I retrofit LEDs

Have a look on eBay, genuine Hyundai units are depending on condition £200+ each, as Berty said above you’ll have issues with the indicators so you’ll need a complete DRL assembly as well these are around £400 each.
