Windows up

The wife found a new feature I never realised this car had! Whilst driving to collect our son from Heathrow she drove through the tunnel near the airport with the windows down the car then automatically closed all the windows because of poor air quality which is pretty cool!!! Other techie features ...

Re: Dealer recommendations - or otherwise

Richmond Hyundai Portsmouth for us have been brilliant so far. Enquired about a Tucson hybrid end of January 2022. Henry the salesman said we could have it early March! I was very sceptical but paid the deposit, they gave us fortnightly updates on progress, got the car 7 weeks later, so very very pl...

Re: Advice on hybrid Tucson

Our HEV does 47mpg 90% urban driving, for me the extra cost of the PHEV and the higher 40k tax bracket just didn’t add up! Surprisingly love the car coming from a large Jeep Grand Cherokee, miss the shear grunt of the Jeep and the Tucson is a little techie too, but overall very happy with our first ...

Re: Speed Cameras - Dash Warning

2022 hybrid n line S done 7k miles and I’ve never seen a camera warning! My Jeep would give a nice little chime as a warning but nothings from this car, I would love to have it if someone could tell me how?
I wonder if due to shortage of parts each car has small differences.

Re: Heavy Duty Boot liner recommendations

ExTyke, I think this Rhino boot liner would be great for what you want to carry. Thick, tough plenty of coverage up the sides and back too!
I got a discount through this forum too! ;)

Re: Taken the plunge!

We had the same story from the Portsmouth dealer for a N line S hybrid back in January, I was very sceptical too!
7 weeks later we had a nice 22 plate to take home!!!

Re: Battery alarm music

My N line S makes this noise too, my son noticed it first when I was reversing into the garage, said it’s making a holy sound! 😂

Impressive key fob, pants sat nav!

I took my key fob for a good 5min swim in the sea! A week later it’s still working fine!!! Very impressive
Not so impressive is my bloody Sat Nav seems to absolutely love small roads and the narrower the better! The wife has found this on her trips too, any suggestions?

Re: 2 Months & 2,000 Miles

My mpg is slowly getting better too was 43 and I was happy with that, it’s now 47.8 at 2000 miles, lots of short journeys and the odd long one. One little niggle, sometimes the handbrake won’t release if the seatbelt isn’t connected, maybe a safety feature? Loving the car so far though and very impr...
