Re: June 23 Update

Am I completely losing it, or have they made the 'update when car off' effectively mandatory if you wanna start the update I haven't done the update yet, not sure I will either, but it's looking like you might be right as on previous occasions I switched the car off and left it to its own devices, ...

Re: June 23 Update

WOW I think you need to rebrand your name to grumpy old man reading your replies he only stated he never used the in built nav and you went off on one 🤣🤣 thanks for the uptake Richarde on the update 👍 If you read the thread properly, you'll see that I did thank Richard for his heads up. He later ma...

and don’t use the built in nav!
What does that mean exactly ?
I only use CarPlay

That doesn't mean that the built in sat nav is no good, it just means it's not your preference.
I've used the built in two years running in France and it's done a very good job.

Re: Towbar + electrics

Finding them at 42psi all-round in the cool of early morning, I reduced them all to 35psi and that actually transformed the ride comfort. The car is now quieter as well as being more comfortable over most surfaces. I guess PDI is now no more than a quaint old term from the early post-war years when...

Re: Towbar + electrics

There is a thread or two regarding tow bars from last year. However, firstly tell us what model and year you own. I can't help with tow bar fitters in your area, but depending on how much you've been quoted, don't rule out mobile fitters if you can find one that comes recommended. Whilst they might ...

Re: Sun roof

Hi all I’ve got a week old ultimate plug in. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get the sun roof to open when you use the key fob to auto open the windows. My old Passat used to do this but the Tucson just does the windows. Only the windows I'm afraid. I know with my previous VW, I had the full V...

That's heartening in an adverse way. At least I now know the fault is not with my laptop.

Re: Anyone experiencing faults with this forum site ?

Hi, I have been doing some updates to the site the past couple of days. What sort of issues are you seeing? Hi Rob, that was quick. When I bring the forum up on my screen, it sometimes appears in a completely disjointed format. Sometimes this will correct itself quickly and other times I have shut ...
