Re: Plug in Hybrid Engine Failure (1000 miles)

Quick update. Car still in the workshop. Parts due in UK at the end of December. It will have been in the workshop longer than i have actually owned it, so have rejected it. So far the process has been challenging. Correct decision. I went through this exact process a few years back and as you say ...

Re: 3 pin charger options

We've had our PHEV for just over 12 months now and it came with the 3pin charger. We've never used this 3pin charger as we have a 7kw Pod Point charger at home.

Re: Calling all PHEV owners !

I placed me vote a couple of weeks ago during transferring my energy account over. If anyone else is looking to transfer over use this link https://share.octopus.energy/storm-may-577 and we'll both get a £50 account credit :D

Re: Plug in Hybrid Engine Failure (1000 miles)

If this happened to my car before it was 6 months old I'd reject for a full refund no questions asked. No way would I accept a repair.

Re: TYRE PRESSURE READING ON DASHBOARD

The tyre pressures will change due the ambient temperature and during and after a journey. I used to race and spent a lot of time analysing tyre performance as they are the only point of contact that allows steering and braking and hence staying alive or at least uninjured when it all goes t*ts up....

Re: 3 pin plug? PHEV

Your dealer is wrong. It is not NEWER cars that come with the 3 pin charger, it is the OLDER cars that came with it. Hyundai started to phase out the 3 pin charger around August last year.

Re: Bluelink

Had our N-Line-S PHEV 6 months now and the only downside is being unable to preheat the car while it's plugged in and on charge.

Re: Safety Recall PHEV

We have a PHEV N Line S and have not had any issues with it. Also we've not received that letter, but that's not to say one isn't on its way to us.

Re: New Tucson arrived….. but Refused!

There must surely be a way the dealer and/or Hyundai can resolve this. Would you be prepared to drive the car while you wait for your correct spec to arrive? If so that's a solution as long as there are no unreasonable costs associated with this from your point of view. All about negotiation I would...
