Re: Petrol flap on NX4 Hybrid.

If the fault is electrical the emergency pull wire is essential but in most cases the flap just stick because the mechanism does not have a positive release. Pulling the wire makes no difference. In an emergency an old store card or credit card did the trick for me. Insert it in the gap at the back...

Re: Petrol flap on NX4 Hybrid.

even if you took the arch cover off there is no emergency way of opening it. I asked hyundai who would be liable if I had to rip the petrol flap off. They answered "I don't know"

Re: What would you change on the Tucson?

There are quite a few things here but it still doesn't diminish my enjoyment of the car. I think many, if not all, have been covered by others. In no particular order: 1) Let me decide on Autohold. 2) Let me decide upon Lane Departure. 3) Let me decide upon distance of Nav instructions ... it too l...

Re: What would you change on the Tucson?

I would like to see the go-forward drive button at the front and the go-reverse button at the back. it just makes more sense to me Yep I agree. Put a spare wheel in it. The excuse that it cuts the weight down and emissions etc is a poor excuse. Its because its cheaper for them not to supply one wit...

Petrol flap on NX4 Hybrid.

Hi fellow tucson NX4 hybrid owners. Just a heads up about the petrol flap. My car is a 2021 hybrid ultimate 20000 miles on the clock. My petrol flap refused to open one week before I was due to tour France. I phoned my dealer who told me it was probably an adjustment issue and they could fix it the ...

Re: 2021 Tucson spare wheel

Hi Chris, underneath the boot floor is a storage compartment made of some sort of polystyrene. If you took that out you could fit a spare in there.
